The Interim administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Major General Barry Ndiomu retired, has called for the support of all Nigeria Deltans to ensure the programme succeeds.On a solidarity visit to victims of flood especially those in Odoni Kingdom, in Bayelsa State, Major General Ndiomu said his mandate is to reposition the amnesty programme since the President extended its lifespan.
Received by the traditional rule of Odoni, Pere Albert, Major General Ndiomu stressed that with the new mandate the Presidential Amnesty Programme must live up to the purpose for which it was established.
The traditional rules appreciated President BUHARI for appointing one of their own to steer the affairs of the programme.
