The issue of Transmission of Electricity from Generating Companies has been a vexed one that has created a schism between the 3 legs within the Power Sector Value chain with the Transmission Company of Nigeria and the various Distribution Companies and Generating Companies.
The Transmission Company of Nigeria has always maintained that it has the capacity to Transmit the current Generating capacity of the Generating companies or GENCOS to all parts of Nigeria and the Federal Government has also since the advent of the Muhammadu Buhari administration workd round the clock to increase its capacity.
This inauguration is part of efforts to ensure that projects aimed at ensuring the success of this moves comes to fruition.
