Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Public Communications, Assistant Principal Spokesperson, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign council, Ajuri Ngelale, says the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is known for his very sagacious approach to administrative operation.
He stated further that one of the tenets of that is understanding that government is a continum and there is a responsibility to the Nigerian people to ensure that all viable policies, programmes and projects are not only continued but that they are accelerated and where necessary, you make value additive modifications to ensure Nigerians get the best value out of existing policies, programmes and projects.
He made these submissions on TVC’s ThisMorning show with Yori Folarin on Friday.

Speaking on Asiwaju’s ‘Renewed Hope’ Manifesto, the SSA to the President said Asiwaju Tinubu is coming with a fresh set of ideas.
In security for instance, one of the major set of interventions he has laid out in his manifesto is enhancing a fresh set of specialisation within the various branches of our armed forces, ensuring that we have a specifically tailored approach to the custom designed for the uniquely dynamic problems that the country is currently facing.
Addressing issues of medical tourism, Mr Ngelale said by being the hub of medical tourism. We actually want to be the country, not just the country that stops its citizens from going abroad.
“We want to be the country that other countries have their people coming to visit for medical tourism.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is very clear in his plan about that.
“Asiwaju is also promising Nigerians that he will establish local clinics in terms of primary health care. He wants to ensure that every Nigerian is within 3 primary health care facility. Some of them will be stationary, normal brick and mortar primary health care centers. Others will be what we’re going to engage in is establishing mobile primary health care centers that can actually be on the move.
“He wants Nigerians to know this so that he will be held accountable if he doesn’t fulfil his promises.
“This is going to be a major innovation of his government.
“Secondly, he has promised that he’s going to establish, totally refurbish and reconstruct a general hospital and every local government area of the federation.
He has also promised to establish a tertiary healthcare institution in every state of the federation.
“And lastly, he has promised that he’s going to establish a world-class center of excellence in every geopolitical zone of this country so that no matter where you live in the country, you will have approximate access to the best of international health care.
Speaking on agricultural reforms with reference to the current price of rice in the market and empowering local formers for increased agricultural production, Mr Ngelale stated that the commodity board is in charge of price.
“It is one thing to do what we have done, which is to empower our local producers to massively produce various staple items and commodities not just for domestic consumption, but also eventually for international export when we have a lot of surplus.
According to the SSA to President Buhari, one of the major problem we have is that there are some unpatriotic Nigerian farmers who have benefited fully from Nigerian government policy interventions such as the anchor bowers program where not only over 1 trillion naira to millions of farmers across this country but also been given seedling to plant to get the produce.
” They get money, they get seedlings, they also get supplements, actual equipment to be able to till their lands.
“Commodity boards were established so that we have a basic minimum price threshold to ensure that there is a fair level of profit being guaranteed to our producers so that they would not be taking these goods across the border and selling for more money”.
