A section of wall on the first floor of the multi-purpose sports complex has fallen as a result an error from crane operator while lifting the trusses for the roofing of the building.
The complex which is under construction inside the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, is billed to be used for 21st National Sports Festival.
The contractor handling the construction work at the stadium, Lanre Adeleke said it is just minor accident which will be corrected in less than 48 hours.
Delta state government has also dispelled rumour on social media that lives were lost as a result of the incident.
