Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Maigari, has assured Nigerians that free , fair and Credible elections will be conducted across all parts of the Country.
He says the activities of criminal elements will not deter its efforts to enforce law and order in the Land .
The Minister gave the assurance while presenting the achievements for his Ministry at the ongoing President Muhammadu Buhari SCORECARD media series in Abuja
Recent Attacks on several INEC Facilities resulting in deaths and injuries to some of its officials has raised fresh questions on the possibility of conducting credible elections and safety of voters in 2023.
The Independent National Electoral Commission and other relevant stakeholders have continued to reassure Nigerians that despite these setbacks, everything is under control .
At the 15th Edition of the President Muhammadu Buhari ScoreCard Series, the Minister of Police Affairs relays the efforts made so far in ensuring the safety of lives and property for all Nigerians .
He says the recent attacks by criminals elements across the country will not deter its efforts in enforcing law and order before , during and after the 2023 Polls .
Nigeria’s Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, also cautions Nigerians to be objective in electing a new set of leaders and not give power to those who intend to set the country back on its landmark achievements.
