The former Zamfara State Governor who doubles as the Chairman of the APC Campaign council Abdul’azeez Yari condemned the use of Political thugs carrying dangerous weapons during Election Campaigns.
He said his committee will not condole any act of thuggery and has designed strategies to tackle the problem.
The former Governor also frowned at the recent clash between Supporters of the two leading Political parties in the state, warned against the use of weapons during Election Campaigns.
Yari called on all Political parties to embrace peace before, during and after elections.

Earlier, the director general of the campaign council, a former Minister and Senator, Tijjani Yahaya kaura, charged members of the council to be vigilant and committed to the discharge of their responsibilities as they were chosen based on their track records
The Zamfara state APC Campaign Council has as members: two former Governors, two former Deputy Governors, Former and serving Senators, former and serving Ministers, as well as former and Serving members of the state House of Assembly, Including Speaker, Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya.
