Governor of Imo state Hope Uzodinma has restated the commitment of the southeast to vote massively for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate and other party candidates at the 2023 general election.
Speaking at the inauguration of the party’s presidential campaign Council in Owerri, he maintained that the track record of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu distinguishes him from other candidates.

The Governor exhorted APC stalwarts from the five South East states in attendance to go all out and fight for the party’s success at all levels, reminding them that there is a reward system in place for every success accomplished.
He encouraged the team emphasising that all Southeast will be adequately secured for the elections.
The secretary of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign Council, James Faleke urged the Southeast to look beyond religion and elect the APC presidential candidates who has over time distinguished himself.
He assured them that the party will “run a unified campaign, a programme that will involve the presidential candidate, the gubernatorial candidates, the Senatorial Candidates, the Federal House of Representatives Candidates and the House of the Assembly Candidates. There will not be discrimination as all the candidates are as important as each other.”
The APC in the Southeast say never again will regional politics be played as they are committed in ensuring the party wins at all levels.
