Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has relieved of appointment of the state commissioner for religious affairs, Muhammad Tahar.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje in a statement issued by the Commissioner of Information, Muhammad Garba said the removal was with immediate effect.
According to the statement, the former commissioner was fired following his unbecoming attitude as a public servant holding sensitive office and unguarded utterances.
Muhammad Garba pointed out that the sacked commissioner was also found to be running affairs of his office as personal business and unilaterally reducing working days for the staff of the ministry, exempting Wednesdays and Fridays.
The former commissioner was also alleged to be disloyal to the Government.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has since sent to the state House of Assembly Nazifi Bichi of Bayero University, Kano as replacement for screening and appointment as new commissioner.
The governor, the statement added, wished the sacked commissioner the best of luck in his future endeavours.
