The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State Sheriff Oborevwori has accused the All Progressives Congress of give false information about the state governance as he urges residents to trust him because he will always listen to them being a grassroots person.
Mr. Sheriff stated this at a forum in Warri to facilitate interaction between the people and the PDP flagbearer who pledged to run an open-door policy if elected.
Inaugurating this Sheriff Call Centre in Warri established by Delta Connect Global, the PDP candidate says the idea is to interact with residents and help them understand his agenda which is built on Governor Okowa achievements.
During the event there was a call from concerned Deltan about reviving the Warri and Sapele Ports in tackling unemployment
For the group the initiative is to reach out to those in rural areas especially sensitising them on new development like the PVC collection which INEC announced will be ready for collection on 12th of December.
The group says they will collate feedbacks from callers as they encourage the people to call.
The Delta State Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sheriff Oberovwori, is facing a strong challenge from the All Progressives Congress whose charge is being led by the deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
Delta State since the return of democracy in 1999 has been ruled by the Peoples Democratic party but 2023 represents the best chance for the opposition to actually defeat the Peoples Democratic Party in the State.
The days ahead will determine who ultimately triumphs in Delta State in 2023.
