The green chamber, the house committee on National Security has attributed reduction in crimes such as kidnapping, banditry and terrorism to the use of stakeholders input by the Department of State Services, DSS, the delivery of its mandate.
The committee stated this during an oversight to the DSS office in Abuja.

A visit by the members of the House of Representatives committee on National security is in continuation of the budget defense of the Department of State Services.
The agency applauded the support from the legislators over the last three years and promised the budget allocation for 2023 will be judiciously spent.
The committee also commended the service for putting the stakeholders input into use leading to the success so far recorded in the fight against insecurity.
Even as the 2023 election approaches, the community is happy banditry and other forms of vices are on the decline.
