The Pan African Project in Imo state in collaboration with the independent National electoral commission, (INEC) is increasing sensitisation to enable eligible Nigerians collect their permanent voter cards ahead the general election.
The group and INEC visited some markets in Owerri to sensitise and encourage Market women, youths and persons with disabilities to
obtain their PVCs.
INEC said the voter education and publicity in Imo State, Emmanuela Ben Opara attributed low turnout recorded so far in PVC collection in some parts of the state to security concerns.

She expressed optimism that the narrative would change with sustained sensitisation.
