The National Population Commission, NPC is training one hundred and seventy-four staff from three states in the southwest ahead of next year’s National Population and Housing Census.
Chairman of the commission, Nasir Isa Kwarra flagged off the zonal southwest training of principal trainers for the 2023 digital population and housing census in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

It’s the official opening of a ten day train the trainers national level workshop for the 2023 population and Housing Census.
Participants were drawn from Ondo, Ekiti and Osun States offices of the National Population Commission, NPC.
Addressing the participants, the Chairman of the Commission, Nasir Isa-Kwarra said the Commission cannot afford to fail.
Represented by the National Commissioner representing Osun State, Mudashiru Hussein, Nasir Isa-Kwarra said the quality of personnel to be used for the exercise will have great impact on the outcome.
The training requires the Commitment and dedication of the participants so as to achieve desired results.
Participants are expected to go back to their various states to train others
The training is expected to end on today Thursday.
