The Oyo state police command has paraded some suspected criminals who have been terrorising travelers along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
They were paraded at the Headquarters in Eleyele Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
These criminal syndicates will be spending the rest of this year behind bars as their activities along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway have been put to an end.

The suspected kidnappers had attacked and kidnapped an academic don and seven other persons on the 28th of October while traveling along the road and their relatives were made to pay ransom.
Part of the exhibits recovered was a sum of 7.5million naira including the new naira notes, some ammunition, live round cartridges and Ak47 riffles.
Speaking to journalists in Oyo, the Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo command Adewale Osifeso, said further details and painstaking investigation led to the arrest of five members of the criminal gang along with a cash sum of 7.5million naira as part of payment made for the exchange process.
Osifeso said the suspected kidnappers had whisked their victims away to an unknown destination through the thick forest along the expressway. They had also contacted relatives for ransom.
“In one of the most coordinated reconnaissance operations in the history of the Command, all operational, tactical and intelligence assets were collapsed and fused as one to attain the goal of the immediate rescue of the abductees unhurt and the apprehension of their abductors for prosecution,” the spokesperson said.
According to him, other items recovered from the suspects include 4 AK47 rifles, 47 live rounds of AK 47 ammunition, 2 pairs of military camouflaged, green beret and other items.
A 35-year-old Point of Sales accomplice was also arrested.
In the same vein, the Command also paraded some of the suspected criminals that killed a Hotelier and a Student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, after collecting ransom from their relatives.

A father and his son were arrested for allegedly possessing human skulls while others were arrested for other related crimes like armed robbery and rape.
