Going Further, Mr Hundeyin said the only circumstance an officer is expected to use his firearm is when his or her life is in danger and even at that such an officer is not expected to shoot to kill but to be able o escape from the scene on set.
He said this should only happen if their is no Other way to save his life.
For his part, the President of the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, Mr Emmanuel Onwubiko, said the level of Extra Judicial killing by men and Officers of the Nigerian Police Force and Other members of the Security Agencies in the Country has reached an unprecedented level in the Country that demands critical attention.
He said his feelings are that the Police, Other Security agencies and the Federal Government are not doing anything to address the issue.
He described the Extra Judicial Killings by Security Agencies in Nigeria is systematic.
Going further, he added that what is known publicly pales into insignificance to what obtains in most Police detention centres across the Country.

He disclosed that it is wrong and amounted to shielding the fact the killer Policeman was not even named and should have been named and summarily dismissed including the severest possible punishment possible.
He said if anything like that happens in Other parts of the World the officer is named and publicly shamed, he cites the example of the United Kingdom where such a Policeman is publicly named and placed under investigation.
The Lagos Police Public Relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, in his response to some of the issues raised by Mr Onwubiko said it is an unfortunate that the issue of extra Judicial Killing is coming up again.
