President Muhammadu Buhari is seeking the Senate’s Approval to confirm the nominations of Aisha Ahmad and Edward Adamu as deputy governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria for second and final term in office.
The request is contained in a letter read during plenary by president of the Senate Ahmed Lawan on Tuesday
President Buhari in the communique says his request is in accordance with section 8 (2) of the CBN Act
He urged the lawmakers to expeditiously consider the two Nominations for substantive appointment.
