The Political gladiators and a large number of supporters in the Zone C Senatorial district say they have thrown their weight behind Senator Ahmed Lawan and expressed their solidarity with the president of the Senate.
The Senator Lawan’s supporters converged at Nguru town to express their displeasure over the crisis bedevilling the Zone C over the ongoing squabble between and Bashir Machina both of whom are members of the All Progressives Congress.
Some of the leaders of the Solidarity who spoke with TVC News said the movement is for the All Progressives Congress, they threatened that if the All Progressives Congress do not address the issueof the fight conclusively before election day, they would ensure that the selected APC Senatorial candidate who is not the current President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, do not get two third votes from zone C.
They say Senator Ahmed Lawan has done too much for his constituency and his people for him to be sidelined and made a pawn by some political bigwigs.
