The National Secretary of the people’s Democratic party, Samuel Anyanwu says there is no internal wrangling in the party in Imo state but efforts to fight the entitlement mentality some leaders already have.
Senator Anyanwu said this while speaking with journalists on the success of the party’s presidential campaign rally in Imo State.
Supporters of the former Governor Emeka Ihedioha and the national Secretary of PDP Samuel Anyawu have been at loggerheads over who controls the soul of the party in the state.

Addressing journalists, the National PDP Secretary stated that political positions are not meant for any one person.
“In 2015, PDP had twenty three aspirants that was going for governor but today those aspirants are no longer in PDP and that is because they believe someone has an entitlement mentality and that is what we want to kill in our party.
The National Secretary also called on Nigerians to vote wisely in the fast approaching general elections.
He added that it will not be business as usual when Nigerians go to the polls in February 2023.
