The Federal Government has reaffirmed that the 2023 General Elections will hold as Scheduled
Nigeria’s Information and Culture Minister Lai Mohammed, said this when responding to a recent statement by an INEC official , suggesting that the Elections may be cancelled due to security threats and attacks on its facilities across the country.
The Minister was speaking at the 17th Edition of the President Muhammadu Buhari Scorecard media series featuring the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire.

Reports of violent attacks on individuals and INEC facilities across the country, have sparked up genuine concerns among the Electorate and officials of the Electoral body who fear that the attacks may affect the schedule of the Elections
But the Federal Government has continued to reassure Nigerians that it has everything under control and there is nothing to fear.

AKWA IBOM APC PREPARES FOR PRESIDENTIAL RALLY
A former presidential aide, Senator Ita Enang has disclosed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is prepared to receive Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima in Akwa Ibom for their presidential rally.
Enang, who stated this while meeting with all the eleven wards in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of the state, Saturday, hinted that the presidential rally will hold this January.
He noted that the meeting with all the wards and units in the LGA was part of the preparations to put the party together for a massive turnout for the presidential rally.
