The Department of State Security, DSS, says it has arrested former Director General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Doyin Okupe.
He was intercepted at Terminal 1 of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
The secret agent said the arrest was carried out at the instance of the EFCC. DSS however said Mr Okupe has long been handed over to the EFCC which requested for the action.
Okupe was billed to fly to London via Virgin Atlantic before his arrest.

Mr Okupe had late last year resigned as the Director General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council following his conviction by a federal high court over money laundering allegations.
