Social and Commercial activities is now going on smoothly in the Ojota area. The area was earlier embroidered in crisis resulting in the death of one person.
According to a report, the unrest started when police officers from the Lagos command tried to disperse a group of Yoruba Nation agitators.
Though calm has now been restored, there is heavy presence of police officers with security vehicles strategically positioned.
Spokesman of the Lagos police command Benjamin Hundeyin in a series of tweets said persons masquerading as Yoruba nation agitators in their hundreds earlier today disrupted social and Commercial activities in Ojota
He said attempts by a combined team of police officers for the announcer police division from the alausa police division and rapid response Corp was fiercely resisted as operatives were attacked and vehicles destroyed in the process.
Mr Hundeyin added that one person was killed while two police officers who were shot are now receiving treatment in hospital.
He says four suspects have been arrested and investigations are now ongoing.
The police command in the state while while assuring residents of their warned that no person or group under any guise will be allowed to disrupt the peace in the states.
