Six persons have been reportedly killed and several others abducted by gunmen in Rafi and Wushishi Local Government councils of Niger State and two others abducted in Beji a town in Bosso local council
Local Sources say the deaths occurred after exchange of fire between military operatives and gunmen that left many injured including a six month old pregnant woman
The commissioner for internal security Emmanuel Umar told Tvc News correspondent that the number of casualties and those abducted is yet to be ascertained as the military is still combing the area.
Similarly 3 persons including a woman and her daughter were abducted in Beji in Bosso local council of Niger state.
They were abducted alongside a male tenant who managed to escape thereafter.
