Energy Commissioner for Kwara state Abdulwahab Femi Agbaje-White says the Ministry has secured approval to install another set of transformers for five communities in the state.
Mr Agbaje White listed the communities as Oke-Odo community, Erin-Ile in Oyun local government; Offa General Hospital (Offa LG); Obbo- Ile community, Palace Area (Ekiti LG); Oke-Ayewu community, in Shao (Moro LG); and As-Sunnah Kutashi, Tanke Oke-Odo, in Ilorin South local government respectively.
This comes just a few weeks after the administration directed the installation of 400 solar street lights and 18 transformers for various communities across the state’s sixteen local governments.
Agbaje stated that the gesture demonstrates the government’s commitment to citizens’ well-being, adding that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is concerned about socioeconomic development in all parts of the state.
