Police in Zamfara has confirmed the abduction Ibrahim Sarkin Fada, the District Head of Kasuwar Daji in Kaura Namoda emirate Council.
The traditional ruler was abducted at his residence early hours of Thursday when heavily armed men in their large number stormed the Community.
Spokesperson of the Zamfara police command Mohammed Shehu confirmed the Development to TVC NEWS
He said the terrorists invaded the Community and started shooting sporadically to scare the Locals and whisked away the traditional ruler.
Tactical Operatives according to the police authorities were deployed to the area to rescue the victim unhurt
Kaura Namoda Local Government is located in Northern part of Zamfara and Communities in the area have been battling with activities of armed bandits and Kidnappers for many years
This is coming twenty four hours after troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, a joint military Operation in north west region killed scores of armed bandits in Zamfara Forests.
