The Yaba Magistrates Court on Tuesday ordered the remand of Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti at the State Criminal Investigation department, Panti Lagos pending the conclusion of investigation.
The son of the Afrobeat legend was brought to court earlier today after he was arrested and detained for allegedly assaulting a police officer on the Lagos third mainland bridge on Saturday.
Present at the court were his defence counsel, his elder brother and Afrobeat singer, Femi Kuti and his wife.

The Afrobeat singer was arrested following a directive by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali-Baba on Saturday.
