Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has expressed deep grief over the fatal road accident that occurred at Ugwu Onyeama, near Enugu, along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway.
Governor Mbah commiserated with the families and loved ones of the victims of the accident. He described the incident as unfortunate and horrific.
The victims described the cause of the accident and the attention they are receiving from a medical professional at one of the hospitals where they are receiving treatment.

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the accident claimed five lives and left 15 injured.
The accident victims are currently receiving treatment at Our Saviour Hospital, ESUT Parklane and National Hospital Enugu.
