The Kogi State Government has issued a strong warning to protesting residents, saying persons, disrupting the peace and security currently enjoyed in the state will hence be regarded as criminals.
Now, that’s according to the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo.
The Kogi State Government says law abiding residents in the state are totally in support of actions being taken by security agents to rid the state of crime.
The government said those who are protesting are mourning a criminal, gunrunner, and kidnapper who was taken down by security agents after he attacked security operatives in the state.
Mr fanwo said the protest was a deliberate act to misinform the general public and create an impression of crisis in the confluence state ahead the governorship election.
