Members of organised labour have converged on the Unity fountain to begin the rally in protest against government’s policy on fuel subsidy removal.
The Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress ended a meeting with the Presidential steering Committee on Tuesday with a resolve to go ahead with the nationwide strike and protest from Wednesday.

But the roads are relatively busy as residents of Abuja went about their daily activities.
