The spokesperson of the Nigeria House of representatives, Akin Rotimi said he believes that better welfare package by Government at all levels for Nigeria’s health professionals will help stem the tide of brain drain in the sector.
Akin Rotimi said this in Ikole Ekiti during a free medical outreach for residents of his constituency.
Akin Rotimi who said he doesn’t believe that legislation is needed to stop brain drain in the health sector also advised residents of the Ikole 1 constituency to always be steadfast in their support for the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu led federal government.
The Ekiti state commissioner for Health and Human Services, Oyebanji Filani said the state government has improved on the welfare of health workers in the state. He also promised to sustain partnerships that will birth accessibility to Health services for Residents of Ekiti state.
