Security agents in Ekiti state have been advised to carefully investigate circumstances that led to the death of Atanda Modupe, a 200-level student of Federal University, Oye Ekiti whose corpse was found in a shallow grave within the campus.
The charge formed part of the suggestion of the spokesperson of the Nigeria House of representatives, Akin Rotimi while speaking with newsmen in Oye Ekiti shortly after flagging off a training for teachers in the constituency.
while advocating for the inculcation of modern skills in teachers to deal with gender based violence, he promised to maximize efforts in providing teachers with counselling skills and knowledge capacity to shape the future of children in the state.
He said school environment should be made secured to improve learning and called on authorities to put measures in place to curb all social vices in campuses across the country.
