Security operatives have prevented the youth wing of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State from holding a walk in Akure, the state capital.
The security men including men of the Nigerian police force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Department of Security Service were mobilised to the PDP secretary.
The youth wing of the PDP had initially planned to hold a walk on Monday to demand the whereabouts of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The All Progressives Congress in the state on Sunday accused the PDP of planning to instigate crisis in the state.

The PDP youths described the action of the security men as uncalled for.
The protesting youths said they would continue to protest until the needful is done.
