The ongoing crackdown by the Police in Rivers State on car theft has led to the arrest of another set of suspects.
The suspected car thieves were amongst six men paraded at the police headquarters in Port Harcourt for alleged involvement in criminal activities.

The unusual increase in the number of motorists who have reported their vehicles stolen in recent weeks has left many residents apprehensive.
Some of the victims were left with life-threatening injuries while some were killed in the process.
Unoccupied vehicles are also not spared.
The trend has shown that extra caution must be taken for vehicles parked
in public places like churches and shopping complexes at all times.
Officers on routine patrol of the city also arrested 2 suspects for
illegal possession of firearms.
Live ammunitions and other dangerous weapons were recovered.
The police are appealing for more public support in providing
information that can help keep the state safe.
