The Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla has expressed disapproval over the underutilization of the nation’s abundant maritime resources, claiming that the Navy University, which treats sea blindness, is progressively reversing the trend.
The naval chief stated this at 2nd convocation of Admiralty University of Nigeria.
Nigerian maritime domain is rich with a variety of resources that support livelihood, economic development and security.
But the Nigerian Navy believes that there is sea blindness, the major challenge Admiralty University of Nigerian is gradually resolving since inception in 2019.
It is the 2nd convocation of the school which is now a public institution.
Some young men and women have satisfied all requirements to be graduates.
