Heavily armed terrorists suspected to be Boko Haram fighters have attacked farmers harvesting their farm produce in the villages of Koshebe, Karkut and Bulabulin in Mafa Local Government Area, less than 20 kilometers from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
Intelligence sources told TVC news that the terrorists who were on motorcycles divided themselves into three groups before attacking the farmers.
It has reported that the terrorists used cutlasses to kill the farmers.
About 9 bodies were recovered while many farmers are missing.
