The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja has promised that the army will proffer solutions to the rising cases of kidnappings in the country.
He made the promise when he paid an operational visit to the Four Special Forces Command Doma in Nasarawa State.
It’s the first time the Chief of Army Staff will visit the four special forces in Doma since he assumed office in June, 2023.
The army chief is on an operational tour to assess the living and working conditions of his men.
This, he believes will enable him proffer solutions to the challenges bedeviling them for effectiveness and efficiency.
After interacting with the troops, the Chief of Army Staff is ready to provide essential welfare support for men of the command.
He also recounts the successes made in the fight against insurgency and banditry.
The Army chief assures that efforts are underway to combat the spate of kidnappings in the country.
