Enugu state Government has issued an advisory to New Artisan Cattle Dealers Market operators to refrain from residing in the market as measures to checkmate insecurity in the state.
The Executive Director, State Capital Territory Uche ANYA gave the advice to the executives of the Market in Enugu.
Few weeks ago, the Abia State Government restructured Lokpanta Cattle Market operation over alleged discovery of decomposing bodies, human skulls and skeletons.

The state government cited the issues of security and hygiene as the objectives, with the aim to control all market operations.
In their reply, executives of New Artisan market assured the government of speedy response, after consulting with their members.
The government seized the medium to announce massive centres built in the capital city for recreation, while maintaining that the state would henceforth sanction night clubs that disturb the public peace.
The state government also stated that it would not allow street trading, especially children that are supposed to be in school will not be allowed to hawk.
