The Ethiopian Airlines has placed a ban on the popular Ghana Must Go Bags for Airline Travellers on any of its flights from Nigeria.
The ban was contained in a letter signed by its Manager of Airport Services, Henok Gizachew, to the regional Manager of the Federal Airports Authority Of Nigeria.
The Airlines added that the use of the popular bag for packaging has cost it huge losses arising from damage to its conveyor belts and Other equipment in the Course of operations.
It added that the damage to equipment is not peculiar to Ethiopian Airlines alone but to Other Foreign Airlines in the Country.
It however offered a reprieve for users of the bag to continue to use them to package their luggage with a caveat that they must come in an external container or carton to protect them from damaging equipment.
