Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has described the conduct of the Governorship Election in the State as peaceful.
Governor Uzodinma who spoke after voting in Omuma Ward Polling Unit said all reports from across the State indicates that the process is going on smoothly.

He also thanked the Security Agencies for ensuring the smooth conduct of the Election.
Going Further, Mr Uzodinma, said their is no report of a breakdown of Law and Order in any part of the State.
He said no sound of fireworks nor gun has been heard around the State despite fears to the contrary.
He also commended the Voters for coming out en-mass to exercise their franchise.
