Foremost Humanitarian and Politician, Tein Jack-Rich has commended President Bola Tinubu for wading into the recent political crisis in Rivers State.
Some lawmakers of the Rivers State House of Assembly attempted to impeach Governor Fubara a day after the Assembly Complex was set ablaze.
Jack-Rich made the commendation during a courtesy visit on the Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Mujahid Asari Dokubo at his country home in Obuama in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State.
He said the timely intervention of President Tinubu in the political happenings in Rivers State significantly doused further tension in the State and restored confidence of hope for the people and investors alike.
Jack-Rich also pledged to join forces with Asari Dokubo to work towards achieving a lasting peace between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, the Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike for the peace and sustainable development of Rivers State.
Jack-Rich also called on elders of Rivers State to maintain fatherly role and remain neutral in the affairs of the State rather than being partisan so as not to aggregate more tension in the State.
Jack-Rich also appealed to Asari Dokubo to remain unwavering in his support for President Tinubu to achieve his economic blueprint for the development of Nigeria in which the Niger Delta would be a major beneficiary.
The Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force Mujahid Asari Dokubo dispelled rumour of a rift with President Bola Tinubu.
Asari while re-pledging his support to President Tinubu said he shares personal relationship with the President which transcends decades and politics.
Asari further assured Jack-Rich of his continued support to the President Tinubu lead administration and the Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara.
Asari also thanked Jack-Rich for his consistency and steeadfastness in promoting peace, unity and social cohesion amongst Nigerians.
Asari declared that he has put behind him his differences with Governor Fubara on account of the appeal by Jack-Rich while urging the Governor and the Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike to resolve their differences amicably in the interest of the State.
