A prominent traditional ruler in Ondo State, the Olugbo of Ugbo kingdom, Oba Frederick Akinruntan has urged Nigerians to bear with President Bola Tinubu in his quest to deliver on his Renewed Hope Agenda.
Oba Akinruntan, who spoke with journalists after his 14th coronation anniversary thanksgiving in Ugbo, said Nigeria has been grounded before President Tinubu took over the mantle of leadership.
The thanksgiving service was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life, including some members of Ondo State House of Assembly.
It was indeed an atmosphere of thanksgiving, as the people joined the Olugbo of Ugbo kingdom, Oba Frederick Akinruntan to thank God.
Prayers were offered for the country and quick recovery of Governor Rotimi Akereodolu.
Speaking with reporters after the church service, the monarch urged Nigerians to continue to support President Bola Tinubu in his quest to deliver on his electioneering campaign.
According to him, President Tinubu is determined to bring rapid development to the country.
He lamented the way some traditional rulers are dumped after elections, hence the need to give them constitutional roles.
Some lawmakers and clergymen expressed delight with the peace currently being enjoyed in Ugbo kingdom.
They also called on government at all levels to bring rapid development to Ilaje Kingdom.
