Troops of the Nigerian Army have neutralised six bandits during an extensive clearance patrols that covered Birnin Gwari and Giwa Local Councils of Kaduna State.
This was disclosed by Musa Yahaya, the acting deputy director of Army Public Relations for the One Mechanized Division of the Nigerian Army in Kaduna State.
Mr Yahaya said Acting on credible intelligence, the operations were focused on areas such as Maidaro, Ngade Allah, and Kidandan, resulting in the successful elimination of the bandits.
The troops also recovered weapons, ammunition, bandits’ uniforms, and seized nine motorcycles during these operations.
Governor Uba Sani expressed satisfaction with the security forces’ success, commending their leadership and urging them to maintain the operational momentum.
