As part of efforts aimed at encouraging school pupils to stay and focus on their learning activities as well as tackle malnutrition among children, a group has donated some locally made Tom Brown meals to two primary schools in Jos north and south council areas of Plateau State.
Our correspondent in Plateau State, Funom Joshua, reports on the gesture.
Keep the kids in school by all positive means is the mission of the Perceval and Knights group.
These pupils are lucky to benefit from the foundation’s kind gesture for the Yuletide season.
Despite not being part of the government’s homegrown school feeding program, the two primary schools from Jos north and south are now beneficiaries of a Similar programme.
A nutritious locally made package meal, famously known by the name Tom Brown, is among the food items donated to the schools.
The meals are targeted at motivating the pupils to stay in school as well as improving their growing process.
It is a joyful moment for the kids, teachers, and parents.
The move is also part of their commemoration of the new year.
