Police in Ogun State have arrested some suspects in connection to the Ode Remo Robbery and killing of a student of Gateway Polytechnic, Saapade on Saturday 2nd December, 2023.
The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu made this known while speaking with TVC News in Abeokuta.
He said two Lexus vehicles were recovered from the suspects and one of it was confirmed to have been snatched from the venue of the robbery at Ode Remo.
He added that through intelligence and proactiveness of his men, the suspects and the vehicles were apprehended at Oke-Itoku area of Abeokuta.
The students had earlier on Saturday staged a protest at Ode Remo town and its environs to call for justice and seek adequate security in the area.
