Zamfara state governor, Dauda Lawal has pledged to improve healthcare delivery in Zamfara State.The governor stated this shortly after the foundation laying for the rehabilitation and renovation of Anka General Hospital
A statement by the spokesperson of the Governor, Sulaiman Bala Idris, says that Anka General Hospital will be renovated to improve healthcare accessibility for the people.
This development is coming a few months after Governor Dauda Lawal visited the Local Council where he inspected the General Hospital and identified areas of improvement
“Today, Governor Dauda Lawal flagged off the renovation of Anka General Hospital as part of his administration’s commitment to bring sanity to the health sector in the state” Gov. Lawal said.
“The state government will renovate and fully equip the General hospitals in all the local government areas of Zamfara state” He added.
Reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Hospital according to the Governor is in fulfillment of his campaign promises
In his brief remarks, the Medical Director of the Hospital assures that the funds for the renovation and equipment are secured
He however noted that the project will be completed without any hindrance
On Insecurity, Dr. Lawal says his Government is not resting on its oars to addressing the problem
“We are making progress in the fight against Insecurity and will continue to explore new ways to improve the lives of our people. This is just the beginning. He assured.
