The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle has presented two of versions Hi-Tech Unmanned Water Vessels, the S3 Swift Sea Stalker and the S2 Swift Striker to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
They gadgets were presented to the Nigerian Government by Swift Ships Company Ltd during the Minister’s working visit to the USA where he inspected varieties of military hardware in several military industries in the USA.
The visit was aimed at acquiring new technology military hardware that would be used in fighting terrorism and insecurity in Nigeria which is inline with President Ahmd Bola Tinubu’s agenda.
The S3 and S2 are latest technology advanced Unmanned Water Vessels that can be deployed in maritime environment such as the Niger Delta, Lake Chad and other maritime regions of the country.
It is part of the arrangements of collaboration with military industries in the USA such as Swift Ships Company and OCR Global to set up and be producing advanced military hardware locally in Nigeria.
