Governor of Ekiti state, Biodun Oyebanji has called for patience and prayers for the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration to lead the country to the promised land.
Oyebanji made the call at the inter-faith Thanksgiving service to commence the year’s working activities.
He expressed the optimism that with patience and prayers, the country would be led to the promised land.
Governor Oyebanji also urged the citizens to support the government in its efforts to bring about positive change and development in the state.
He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among the people, stating that together, they can achieve great things.
The governor acknowledged the challenges facing the country but expressed confidence that with the right leadership and the support of the people, Nigeria would overcome these challenges and move towards a brighter future.
Oyebanji urged everyone to remain hopeful and steadfast in their prayers, believing that God would intervene and guide the leaders in making the right decisions for the progress and prosperity of the nation.
In their separate Sermons the state CAN chairman Rev Aribasoye and Missioner of Ansarudeen society in Ekiti Sheik Babatunde Abdulsalam called on political officer holder to continue with their support to the governor in his efforts to ensure Ekiti state remain a force to reckon with among comity of states.
The former Envoy of Nigeria to Hungary H.E Eniola Àjàyí said that governor Oyebanji’s performance in the in the last one year was an attestation of his commitment to the development of Ekiti state.
The inter-faith Thanksgiving service was organized to kickstart the year’s working activities and seek divine guidance and blessings for the government and the people of Ekiti State.
