Former Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, Olayide Adelami has been sworn in as the Deputy Governor of Ondo state.
The swearing in ceremony was held at the international culture and event centre popularly known as the Dome.
The venue was jam-packed by party leaders, friends and relatives.
Oath of office and allegiance were administered on the new Deputy Governor by the state chief judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola.
Last Tuesday, Mr. Adelami was picked by the state governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the deputy governor after which his name was sent to the state House of Assembly for screening and ratification.
