A late night fire on Tuesday at a Gas plant along Iyana school/ Ishashi road IBa has burnt and killed at least one person.

The Adult male was found burnt beyond recognition by the fire.He was recovered & handover to SEHMU unit to be deposited in the Morgue.
In a statement released by the Lagos state emergency management agency on Wednesday, permanent secretary, Olufemi Oke-osanyintolu confirmed three Males were rescued but sustained various degrees of burns but one adult died in the fire. The injured persons have been transferred to hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained as at the time of reporting.
However, the LASEMA’s LRT, LASG Fire Service officers are combating the fire and preventing the fire from spreading to other adjourning buildings and structures.
