The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja is asking senior commanders and military leaders to evolve innovative ideas, as catalyst for change within the Nigerian Army.
Mr. Lagbaja gave the task while declaring open the 2024 First Senior Command and Leadership Seminar held at the Nigerian Army 82 Division, Enugu.
There is a growing concern for the military to redesign new strategies in containing security challenges in the country.
And the Nigerian army is taking this task seriously.
The army is now putting up strategies to redouble and equip top military personnel on the need to be abreast with latest techniques of tackling insecurity.
At a 5 day training for army commanders in Southern part of Nigeria, the Chief of Army staff attributes the essence of the seminar as a veritable platform to equip them with requisite skills and competence for better operations

The Chief of Army Staff emphasised the need for its personnel to ensure the impact of Government investment in the military is felt
The participants are drawn from Nigerian Army establishment, schools, and Units in South East, South South and South West Regions of the country
