The National human rights commission in its February 2024 human rights report says violence against children’s right has exceeded cases of domestic violence in the country.
The report shows that out of 1484 complaints received by the commission in February, reports of domestic violence is 370 while violence of children’s rights is 550.
Also over 339 children were abandoned by their parents most especially in fathers in February 2024.
