A former governorship Aspirant in Edo state, Victoria Amu, has described as homecoming the return of a former Chairman of Owan West Local Government, Frank Ilaboya to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Victoria Amu expressed joy at his decision to rejoin the party.
In her statement, Victoria Amu emphasised the significance of unity and reconciliation within the APC, stating that Frank Ilaboya’s return demonstrates the strength and resilience of the party.
“We are delighted to welcome Frank Ilaboya back to our party, which he has always considered his home,” said Victoria Amu.
“His return is a testament to the enduring values and principles of the APC, and we embrace him with open arms.”
Recalling their political sojourn, Amu described Mr Ilaboya as “brother and friend, colleague and political associate. A man who just loves his people and will give all he has to satisfy them. His open door policy is second to none. He’s one of the leading Owan progressives.”
She promised to work closely with Mr Ilaboya and other party members to secure victory for the party at the polls.
“We look forward to Frank Ilaboya’s continued contributions to our party’s success and growth,” added Victoria Amu. “Together, we will work towards achieving our shared goals and aspirations for the benefit of our state and its people,” Amu said.
